Local Festivals

One of the most traditional and cultural ways to spend your holidays, is to attend one or some of the great Local Festivals of the island, well known as "panigiria".

In order to honour a Saint, local people gather together and attend a ceremony, usually followed by a great feast! Greek island-music ("nisiotika"), dancing, traditional tastes and local wine are the highlights of the celebration, where everyone meets everyone and we all become one big party!

Enjoy yourselves following the GREEK WAY!
